Yesterday tuscanrooms took advantage of the sunshine and took our guests to the wine region of Lucca along the Strada del Vino calling in at a couple of the vineyards and taking in the amazing views from the Lucca hills.

We made Montecarlo for lunch at one of the small trattoria and just had to taste the local wine of Montecarlo.

Tuscan rooms visited Lucca today and found a great place for lunch at very reasonable prices.

Not bad for 6 euro!!

  And the rest of the menu looked well worth a try….
