the Palio Della Balestra in Bagni di Lucca.<\/p>\n<p>It was a day for people to go back to the medieval times and enjoy\u00a0the life of times gone by.<\/p>\n<p>There were many people dressed in costume and taking part in Crossbow competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Others were riding through the woods of Villa Ada on horseback whilst the guards were putting on an exhibition of early firearms.<\/p>\n<p>The drummers and musicians led the party down from the Villa to the restaurant Del Sonno where the participants had a lengthy banquet before returning to the competition to see who was the best archer on the day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
