International Womens Day 8th March and Bagni di Lucca celebrated this with an exhibition of arts and crafts in the Casino in Ponte a Serraglio.
The evening was well attended and many locals exhibited their work including sculptures, paintings, photography, ceramics and needlework.
Visitors to the exhibition were also treated to a recital by our good friend Barbara Kelly ( remember ‘The Voice’ last year). As usual Barbara you were fab everyone wanted more.
With food available and a bar put on by Bar Italia the night was a great success.
For me it was just great to see the amazing Casino building open and being put to great use by the local community of Bagni di Lucca.
