This time Colette sets off from Granaiola high above Bagni di Lucca with her dog Bonnie and the camera.
From the main car park walk down the slope towards the houses then turn right onto the old mule track.
It is all down hill from here and not to steep so its a great walk for all.
The path is clearly marked and well maintained.
The views will never disappoint when walking in tuscany.
If you stay on this track it will eventually bring you out near to the Bagni di Lucca sports stadium where you can walk back up along the river to Ponte a Serraglio for a well deserved drink.
