The 14th September 2011 was a perfect day for picking the grapes for this years wine on our friends Johann and Vala’s Vineyard. So it was an early start 6.30am for coffee then armed with clippers off into the vines to collect the grapes.

Europes largest flower exhibition is on in Genova this weekend. It only comes around every five years so a trip was organised from Bagni di Lucca to check it out this year. It was an early start as we left at 6am from the square outside Bar Italia.

It is a time for all the comic enthusiasts of the world ( and Italy has plenty) to meet and exhibit their collections of Super Hero Comics. Hi everyone, Its been a fantastic week to remember with tuscanrooms with special trips to concerts to appeal to all tastes. It started last Thursday night at the famous Lucca Festival which had already hosted stars such as Mark Knoffler, Jeff Beck, ZZ Top to name but a few.
